If you own one of the devices from this list, it's time for a change, or you will lose WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has decided to clean up the list of devices supporting the app, and, following its cancellation for older devices, all developmental and other potentials will be directed to newer devices and phones.

Beginning with January 1, WhatsApp will no longer work on Android 2.1, Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7, iPhone 3GS and all iOS 6-powered Apple devices (iPad, iPod, iPhone).
