No bids for Fabrika Akumulatora Sombor

The administrative receiver of Fabrika Akumulatora Sombor, Predrag Ljubovic, has stated that neither of the interested parties has submitted a bid for the purchase of FAS.

– I will propose further steps regarding the sale to the bankruptcy judge by the end of the year, and, as for the Board of Creditors, they've accepted all my proposals so far and I believe that they will continue to do so in the coming period – Ljubovic said for soinfo.org and noted that his duty was to protect the creditors' rights and that he wouldn't give up on it.

The administrative receiver pointed out that the factory keeps being supplied with electrical energy and that he didn't understand the behavior of EPS Snabdevanje, which had announced cut-offs on several occasions. Ljubovic adduced that EPS Snabdevanje had addressed FAS with a memo stating that they don't want to cut off the power and noted that the illegal renter Dem Hellas had asked for a temporary measure of a ban on electricity cut-off.

– I've sent a new memo to EPS Snabdevanje in which I've repeated the request for cutting off the power – Ljubovic pointed out.

In the past days, the Solidarity Fund has started paying nine minimum wages to former FAS workers. The contracts have been signed by 450 workers, each standing to get RSD 188,760 from the fund's budget, writes soinfo.org.
