Grundfos looking for new workers for Indjija factory – IGB Automotive employs 2,100, contests remain open

(IGB Automotive factory in Indjija) Two foreign investors in the municipality of Indjija are currently looking for workers. The largest Danish manufacturer of pumps, Grundfos, has placed a job add for 30 new workers in the production in Indjija.
The company is looking for workers on the jobs of assembling and packing products on an automatized production line, securing the quality of work and products, transporting pallets of finished products, taking away finished pallets, monitoring and working in line with safety and environmental protection regulations, making recommendations to the end of improving operations or production processes, as well as workers for assembly line supply based on manufacturing order, reception and storing of complete products coming off the line and loading and unloading trucks.
The candidates need to have the third or the fourth vocational degree, and work experience in similar jobs is preferable.
The company organized the Employment Fair at the Cultural Center of Indjija this September, where several applications were filed. It was announced back then that the Danish company would be looking for additional workers in production, the technical department and the warehouse.
The production in the new factory in Indjija started in 2012. The factory currently employs 448 workers, and 70 workers were employed in only three months of 2016.
Due to the expansion of the production capacities, IGB Automotive in Indjija is also looking for new workers. This German company is one of the most important greenfield investments in Serbia and an excellent example of a successful and productive business. It currently employs 2,100 workers in Indjija, which is more than the number planned for the end of the year.
However, despite having employed more than 300 workers in the past three months, this company is still accepting job applications. Production workers may submit their application through email or hand them over at the company.
– The company has organized four Career Days in the past period, in Nova Pazova, Irig, Indjija and Sremski Karlovci. A lot of interest has been shown in the jobs available at the production facility in all four municipalities. There have been 150 applications each in Irig, Nova Pazova and Indjija and 100 in Sremski Karlovci. Despite the end of Career Day, those interested in working in our company may still send their CVs, as we always need good workers – the company says.
