Zastava delivered first this year's shipment of arms for US market to "Remington" - funds provided for realization of export
The first this year’s
shipment of Zastava’s hunting and sports arms and arms for personal defense, intended for US market,
has been dispatched from the Kragujevac-based factory.
Thanks to "Remington",
the buyers in America will be offered hunting carbines, small-caliber rifles
and revolvers worth about 400,000 USD. The plan is that "Zastava Arms" exports
goods worth 3.2m USD to the US market this year.
The funds for realization of that deal, purchase of semi-finished products and new production equimpent have been provided from recently when about 1.8m USD was paid by the Ministry of Defense of Iraq to settle previous debt and cover advanced payment for export of 18,300 pistols to that country. People in "Zastava" say that these funds are big enough for realization of all export arrangements, total value of which is about 30m USD.
