Shipyard "Bomex 4M" resumes cooperation with the French - building of another ship for company "CFNR"
Company "Bomex 4M" will launch today (April 9, 2008) the third 1.12m EUR worth of ship for French company CFNR in shipyard Novi Bečej, where this company builds ships for foreign buyers. “The ship should be in Regensburg on April 20”, the CEO of that shipyard, Milenko Lepović, confirms and says that this company has all working capacities employed until the end of the year.
- This is the last ship built in Novi Bečej, and
all future deliveries will be realized in the new shipyard, which is still
under construction. Building of the fourth ship for French buyer and one ship
for Dutch market is underway - Lepović explains.
According to his words, construction of the new shipyard on the road to Belgrade is in progress. Technical approval has been given, building permit issued and it is expected that the hall where two cranes with the capacity of 25 tons will be installed will be finished in two months, which will increase shipbuilding capacity by 30%.
Lepović points out that bad weather prolonged most of the construction works, but that it did not slow down the works on the ordered ships. Two ships for foreign buyers are in late phase of construction, and, according to the plan, ten ships worth about 12m EUR should be delivered by the end of the year.
