Vax museum in Jagodina - opening on April 29

- Vax Museum, the first in Serbia and the sixth in the world, will be opened tomorrow (April 29, 2008) in Jagodina - people from Town Hall of Jagodina announced.

The building of the museum is finished and it is in the tourist part of the city, in the vicinity of Aqua-park, Zoo, Summer stage, sports courts, parking lot for 1,000 automobiles.

The museum will have 39 vax figures of famous people from the cultural and historical spheres of Serbia, such as Czar Dušan, Duke Lazar, St Sava, Patriarch Pavle, King Petar I, Dositej Obradović, Ivo Andrić, Njegoš, Jefimija, Nikola Tesla, Tito...


These figures are gift from the history artist from Belgrade, Vladimir Tomčić.

The museum will be open on Tuesday at 4 PM by Mayor Dragan Marković Palma who gave the initiative for the opening of that facility.
