Profit of "Coca-Cole" in Serbia in 2007 - 17.7m EUR; Company's market value - 21.3 billion RSD
Company “Coca Cola HBC” realized profit in amount of 1.4 billion RSD (17.7m
EUR) in Serbia in 2007, which is 23% more than in 2006.
According
to the data published on the web site of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, total
incomes of that manufacturer of juices and water on Serbian market amounted to 12.7
billion RSD, while its expenses reached the amount of 11.3 billion RSD. Both
incomes and expenses were increased by about 29% in 2007.
The price of single
stock of "Coca Cola HBC" in Serbia at the end of April amounted to 5,999 RSD, while
the market value of the company reached 21.3 billion RSD.
According to the data provided by the Central Securities Registry, the majority owner of "Coca-Cola" in Serbia with 89% of stocks is "Balkaninvest holdings".
"Coca-Cola HBC" is present in Serbia since 1997 when it bought Industry of soft drinks in Belgrade.
According to the data on the company's web site, "Coca Cola HBC" has, so far, invested over 150m EUR in expansion and modernization of production and distribution. "Coca Cola HBC" has six distributive centers in Serbia and about 1,000 workers.
In addition to the
unit with six production lines in Belgrade, Coca Cola also owns bottling unit "Vlasinka"
where it bottles water "rosa" and,
since 2006, it is the owner of Subotica-based company “Fresh&Co”, which
produces juices "next" and "su-voće".
