The factory Toza Markovic has bought two new digital printers for the tile production facility, Kikindske Novine writes.

The mounting of the new equipment, in which EUR 450,000 has been invested, will be completed this week.

Director Vladimir Ilic says that, with the new printers, Toza Markovic will be able to compete in the market.

– The new investment means that we will leave the obsolete tile production by rollers behind us. The design and the tiles to be produced under the Toza Markovic brand will be attractive and stand shoulder to shoulder with those of the most renowned producers. Furthermore, this way, we will be able to produce small series of tiles for known customers – Ilic says.

Digital printers will make tile production less expensive, so the Kikinda factory estimates that the investment will pay off in a year.

– Tiles bearing our factory's brand were last produced ten years ago and our main motive is to have our own product. We will also be producing tiles per order, as we have so far, for known customers. Once the machinery has been mounted, we will be performing the test run for two weeks, and we are being assisted in all aspects by representatives of the Italian company whose printers we have bought – Ilic notes.
