Business-recreational center “RELAX” opened in Kovacica

Business recreational center “RELAX” was opened on May, 1st, in Kovacica. The object, which has great significance for development of this Municipality in Vojvodina, contains accommodation houses, closed and opened pool, sauna, gym, beauty saloon, night club, restaurant and a congress hall with 300 seats.

The President of Executive council of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtic, was present on the festive opening, as well as Hungarian Ambassador, Sandor Pap, representatives of Slovakian Embassy, Slovakian Republic consul, Jan Psenica, President of Kovacica Municipality, Miroslav, Krisan, and very large number of businessmen from the region, guests from other municipalities and other respectful people.

4 accommodation houses were opened, with 32 beds, and after finalization of all works, there will be 12 more houses available for tourists, with total of 96 beds. The objects are not categorized yet, but it is expected that some will have 3 or 4 stars.

Municipality reminded that main investors in building of this recreational complex were Kovacica municipality and provincial bodies, especially Fund for capital investments of APV.

Newly opened PR of “RELAX” center has significant meaning for the citizens of Kovacica municipality. Besides new working positions (first 10 people were already hired), this center will offer possibility of new kind of recreation throughout the entire year, for adults and for children. Also, tourism development, as third ranged activity, will influence the entire industry in Kovacica municipality, development of craftsmanship, small commerce, private enterprising – it was stated from Kovacica Municipality.

They also made notice that there was a great interest of potential visitors, and they were already expecting first guests in the second half of May.
