Dahlia used to belong to Zeljko Zunic, and other parts of the system have also gone into bankruptcy – Beohemija and Beohemija-Inhem.
The administrative receiver Rade Radulovic says that Dahlia will be sold as an enterprise and that the public invitation is expected in late April, but that chances are slim that all creditors will be repaid.
– We have defined the total claims and they amount to as much as RSD 28 billion, which is more than EUR 200 million, for the entire system, Beohemija and Beohemija-Inhem included. The value of Dahlia has been estimated at around EUR 10 million, which means that the starting price will be around EUR 5 million. After the sale, secured creditors are repaid first, that is, those whose claims are secured by security interest or pledge. The remaining amount goes into the bankruptcy estate. Salaries are then paid in the amount of minimum earnings during the past year, as well as pension and disability fund contributions for the past two years. Once these are paid, the next lines of payment follow. There's a good chance that the first line of payment will be made from the bankruptcy estate, but it's not likely that it will be able to cover other lines of payment – Radulovic says.
