Al Dahra to buy 20.000 ha in Serbia?

Al Dahra plans to allocate millions of dollars this year to improve food safety. Only in Serbia they want to buy as many as 20,000 hectares.

Arabs are planning to spend about USD 130 m this year to buy arable land around the world, to invest in projects that ensure greater food safety, the president of Al Dahra Al Dare said.

Al Dahra is a company specialized in cultivation, production and trade of food products. It is known to Serbian public, and as Al Dare says, Al Dahra is planning to extend long-term partnership with our country. He said that in Serbia they already have 1,000 hectares of land and are planning to buy more, because their goal is 20,000 hectares.

President of Al Dahra also said the company is making good progress in Egypt, where it owns more than 54,000 ha. In addition to Egypt and Serbia, the company has 4,000 acres in the United States, as much in Spain and about 2,000 ha in Australia.

As he said, they want to focus on food safety improvement and to ensure constant supply of food, such as wheat and rice or other grains.
