Air Serbia aircraft to carry Goran Bregovic's name

(The new airplane will carry the name of Goran Bregovic) The national airline Air Serbia has presented its fifth “living legend”, the airplane which will carry the name of Goran Bregovic.

Bregovic will thereby become the fifth prominent citizen of Serbia to be honored within the “living Legends” program for his immeasurable contribution to the music scene of Serbia and the world.

The Airbus A319 with Goran Bregovic's name fresh on its fuselage was presented today at a special ceremony in a hangar at the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.

The “Living Legends” program honors citizens of Serbia who stand out in their field and who have acquired international reputation. So far, the aircraft have borne the names of tennis star Novak Djokovic, basketball player Vlade Divac, football player Dejan Stankovic, as well as Serbian and European actor Predrag Miki Manojlovic.
