Progetti to expand production for Prada? – Owner of famous designer brand Patrizio Bertelli visits Vrsac factory

Patrizio Bertelli, owner of the famous designer brand Prad, visited the Progetti factory in Vrsac on Thursday, March 30, the Juzni Banat portal reports.

This is his first visit to Serbia, during which he met with the owner of Progetti, Romano Rossi, to discuss the future development of the plan of activities in Serbia.

Prada is already being produced in Serbia (around 75,000 pairs of shoes a year) in the Progetti factories in Vrsac, from which the shoes bearing the “Made in Serbia” mark are distributed worldwide.

– We discussed a potential increase in production with Bertelli, which would require new employments and training programs – says Romano Rossi, owner of Progetti.

Progetti currently employs more than 1,000 people in its factories in Sombor, Vrsac and Vladimirci. The plans to raise new facilities in Sombor with another world-famous international brand have been announced and should start being implemented soon, Juzni Banat reports.
