Growth of Alfa Plam profitability in 2016 – Net profit increases to RSD 796.7 million

The Vranje-based oven producer Alfa Plan recorded better results in 2016 than in 2015 thanks to a growth of profit in the fourth quarter.

In 2016, Alfa recorded an operating income of RSD 5.8 billion, which is 9.7% more than a year before. The operating profit dropped by 11.5% to RSD 561.9 million, whereas the net profit rose by 4.7% to RSD 796.7 million thanks to better results in other segments.

After the last year’s growth of 3.2%, the price of Alfa Plam shares hasn’t changed in the first three months of the current year. The company’s market cop amounts to RSD 6.1 billion (EUR 49.4 million) at the current price of RSD 35,003, Wisebroker reports.
