eKapija | Who will be the winner of Aurea 2017 investment of the year award? – eKapija to hand out the prestigious prize on April 5 in Belgrade

The winner of the prestigious investment of the year in Serbia award, Aurea 2017, handed out by the eKapija portal, will be revealed on Wednesday, April 5, at the ceremony in Aeroklub Belgrade.

The Aurea prize has been awarded by eKapija for nine years now, and, traditionally, in addition to the main prize, two special acknowledgments will be handed out, those for innovation and social usefulness.

Eight projects have made it to this year’s finals: Agrisens – agricultural data analysis software, Weiss Light – first Serbian LED lamp factory, PetroSOLAR – intelligent, solar-powered street furniture, VisMedic – telemedicine web platform, Elektrovat – best practice implementation in raising SHPP Beli Kamen, OrganicNet – organic food social market, Hydrogen Technologies – hydrogen-powered ICE decarbonizing machine and OnoBikes – Archont electric bicycle.

The winner will be the company to rank the best by three criteria: innovation, social usefulness and financial potential. Who will win the award will be decided by a jury of seven, comprised of representatives of eminent organizations and business associations, prominent business people and leading local economists, and eKapija and aurea.rs readers were also able to vote.

The Aurea 2017 award ceremony will be attended by the acting director of the Development Agency of Serbia, Zeljko Sertic.

The strategic partner of eKapija in the Aurea 2017 project is the auditing and consulting firm KPMG, whereas Global IT Factory is a friend of the project.

The business portal eKapija is organizing the Aurea award as part of its orientation towards socially responsible business, free of financial interest and with the intention of promoting and supporting projects important to a sustainable development of the Serbian economy.

The direct benefit to the winners, but also to the finalists, is promotion, which further materializes through increased visibility with investors and easier communication with the media, banks, the state administration and other potential partners.

The initiative of eKapija to support project good for a sustainable development of the Serbian economy through the Aurea award has resulted in a wide media promotion of over 70 innovative individuals and companies since 2009.
