IMF and World Bank spring session to begin on April 21

The spring session of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank is to be held in Washington on April 21-23 in the shadow of geopolitical tensions, uncertainties regarding the future of the European Union and the growing unpredictability of the American president, The Guardian reports.

According to the newspaper, five topics will be dominant, namely, protectionism and trade, low productivity, political uncertainty, migrations and growing interest rates in the US.
