Food manufacturers on Russian market - Serbian products in Russian "Metro"
The representatives of companies for production of groceries and drinks from Serbia presented their products on May 30, 2008, in Moscow to the management of trade company "Metro".
"Metro" has 10 sales facilities in Moscow, 3 in Sankt Peterburg and another 27 in other Russian regions. THey offer the main Russian and international brands.
Manager of "Metro's" department for procurement of food products, Aleksandar Aleksandrov, said that there was great probability that the contract would be signed after the negotiations with Serbian manufacturer and that Russian market was interested in Serbian products.
The companies that presented their products in MOscow are "Yuhor-export” from Jagodina, "Neoplanta" from Novi Sad, "Bambi" from Požarevac, PIK "Južni Banat" from Bela Crkva, PIK "Bečej", companies "Prima produkt" from Subotica and "Agrokom" from Donji Tavankut.
There were also "Rubin" from Kruševac and "Vino Župa" from Aleksandrovac, company IM "Zlatibor" from Čajetina, "Vujić voda" from Valjevo, "Vitamin" from Horgoš, "Aleva" from Novi Kneževac and NIS "Jazak voda" from Novi Sad, "Centroproizvod", "Beohemija" and "Foodland" from Belgrade, as well as "Žitko" from Bačka Topola, "Kondiva" from Bujanovac, "Big bull" from Bačinci, "Carnex" from Vrbas and "Greni export" from Gornja Trnava.
