Kruševac-based "Flory" plans production growth of 30%

Company for production of baby food “Flory“ from Kruševac announced today (June 2nd, 2008) that it planned to increase production of food in 2008 by 30%, to about 114 tons, to enlarge its assortment of products and hire more workers.

- Total of 87.4 tons of baby food was produced last year, which is three times more than in 2003, when the company was put into operation - says the Deputy CEO, Branko Vesić.

The lines for production of chocolate candies and "musli" should be put into operation soon.

"Flory" has 33 workers and it is the most famous by its instant kids food "baby king", which has the largest share in overall production.

Last year, 15% of production, about 13 tons, was exported.

"Flory" delivers the kids instant food to the markets of Montenegro, Republic of Srpska, Macedonia, Slovenia, Turkey, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Lybya, Algeria.

Preparations for export into Russia and Ukraine, where significant orders are expected, are underway.
