Contract signed on rehabilitation of village roads and streets in town hall of Kikinda - investment worth 330m RSD

Signing of the contract on investments worth 330m RSD took place on Friday (May 30, 2008) in hotel "Narvik" between the representatives of the Capital Investments Fund of AP Vojvodina and presidents of local communities of Bašaid, Banatska Topola , Rusko Selo, Sajan, Novi Kozarci and Mokrin.

The projects that will be financed concern rehabilitation and reinforcement of lanes on village roads and streets. Realization of this project will be carried out in association with the Provincial Representative Sava Dobranić who was present when the contract was signed. The project coordinator is Mirko Jočić from the North Banat region. According to his words, although the agreement on this investment was reached earlier, this is practically the first project of the new provincial government.

Savo Dobranić, the newly elected representative in the Provincial Assembly, who contributed to commencement of rehabilitation and broadening of village road, said that the new projects were in the pipeline and that the focus was on animating citizens to apply for the funds from the Fund for capital investments in order for current Assembly to contribute to development of Town Hall of Kikinda as much as it could. He emphasized that the funds for other villages would be set aside by the end of the year, so that the project for lowering level of subterranean waters would be implemented in Banat's Veliko Selo.
