"Delta agrar" plans to have turnover worth 233m EUR in 2008

- Company "Delta agrar", a member of "Delta Holding", plans to realize turnover worth 223m EUR in 2008, which is 30% more than last year - said the CEO of "Delta agrar", Dejan Jeremić.
- "Delta agrar" plans to invest 30m EUR in primary agricultural production in 2008 - said he at the first celebration of the Day of Fields of "Delta agrar" at agricultural farm "Napredak" in Stara Pazova.
Part of these funds have already been invested in plantation "Jabuka" in Čelarevo, in commencement of construction of modern storage space for onion and potato in Čelarevo and in completion of construction of the pig production center in Stara Pazova.
According to his announcement, it is expected that the construction of milking cow farm will soon start in Stara Pazova and that construction of ULO cold storage plants will start in September in Belgrade. These cold storage plants have reduced level of oxygen in their chambers, which enables longer preservation of fruit and vegetables.
Jeremić said that "Delta agrar" exported livestock and meat to Italy and Greece and that the company planned to start export of vegetables and fruit into European Union and Russia and create, by exporting high-quality food, easily recognizable brand on those markets.
