Company EFT obtained ecological permit for construction of Steam Power Plant "Stanari"

Company EFT obtained ecological permit yesterday (June 11, 2008) for the project for construction of Steam Power Plant "Stanari" from the Ministry of Spatial Organization, Civil Engineering and Ecology of Republic of Srpska.

According to the announcement of this power company, that is the first such permit issued on the territory of western Balkans for construction of a steam power plant, which completely respects all directives of European Union concerning environment protection.

Steam Power Plant "Stanari" will have installed capacity of 420 MW and it will be annually producing about 3,000 GWh of electric power, or about one fourth of current production of electricity in BiH.
