BRNABIC: eZUP project to begin in June

Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Ana Brnabic has stated that the eZUP project, which will connect the sixth biggest databases in Serbia will start in June. The project will connect the the databases of the birth record, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Tax Administration, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the National Employment Service and the Central Register of Mandatory Social Insurance.

During her visit to Backa Palanka, the minister said that two eZUP training courses had been organized and attended by 434 employees in local self-governments, so that the software might start being used on time.

She emphasized that mobile teams would be formed as well for the purpose of aiding towns and municipalities in Serbia in mastering the implementation of the software.

– The pilot phase of the project of canceling the extension of health insurance by the employer starts in June as well. The plan is to test the system during the summer, so that it would start being applied to everyone, except for independent entrepreneurs and agriculturists, in October – Brnabic said.
