Ringier Axel Springer Serbia to sell ALO! newspaper and alo.rs portal

Ringier Axel Springer Serbia has announced that it is selling the ALO! Newspaper and the alo.rs portal to the company Dnevne Novine ALO d.o.o.

The agreement was signed on May 31, 2017. As said in the press release of the company Ringier Axel Springer Serbia, the competent institutions now need to approve the transaction.

– Ringier Axel Springer Serbia will focus on its main multimedia journalistic brand, Blic, in in the future, as well as on expanding its online advertising and digital marketing platforms – the press release says.


The owner of the newly founded company Dnevne Novine ALO d.o.o. is Sasa Blagojevic, who has fifteen years of experience in marketing, the press release adds.

– The decision on the sale of a product such as ALO was not easy. We are a digital media company basing itself on strong journalism. In the future, we will focus on our main product, Blic, and invest in new digital concepts such as noizz.rs – said Jelena Drakulic-Petrovic, CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Serbia.
