Kragujevac to get a film town and industrial zone? – Gate of Europe projects presented in China

The City of Kragujevac presented its potentials and its intention to draw investors with the Gate of Europe project at the Silk Road fair in Xi'an, China, the Ritam Grada portal reports.

As part of the Phoenix Industrial Park, Kragujevac is looking to develop the industrial zone through the construction of infrastructure, production facilities and attracting investors who would initiate industrial production in those facilities.

As part of the health food project Food Road, Kragujevac is interested in finding partners in the field of production and processing of agricultural products to be exported to China.

Kragujevac is also looking for a Chinese partner for the construction of a film town within the Valter Studios Production Facility, which would act as a cultural bridge between Europe and China. The project is to be carried out in cooperation with Emir Kusturica as the creative director.

The fourth project is the construction of a big amusement park called Dragon Land, which would enable Kragujevac to enrich the tourist offer of the entire region.

Following the screening of promotional movies about the projects and presentations, individual talks with interested investors were organized.

Aside from the said projects in Kragujevac, businessmen from Serbia, among which the majority are food manufacturers, are presenting their products at the Silk Road fair in China, writes Ritam Grada.
