"Vitaminka" wants "Delta" to be its exclusive distributor on Serbia's market

The CEO of Banja Luka-based "Vitaminka", Žarko Mikić, said that the aim of that company was that Belgrade-based "Delta" became the exlusive distributor of its products in Serbia.

It is well known that "Delta" took over the Banja Luka retail market chain "Tropic", and "Vitaminka" distributes its marmalades, vegetables and juices through "Tropic".

- Cooperation with the Belgrade company has been broadened and the contract has been signed with "Vitaminka's" majority owner - company "Kreis Industriehandel AG" from Bazel, on distribution of "Delta's"water "Gala" on the market of BiH - said Mikić to Agency Beta.

According to his words, distribution of that water is carried out successfully on the territory of Republic of Srpska through "Vitaminka's" distribution network, while the future aim is that "Delta" becomes the exclusive distributo of "Vitaminka's" products in Serbia.

Mikić also said that the current cooperation between "Vitaminka" and "Delta" was good and that "there are many new opportunities for extension and improvement of level of cooperation to cover other areas".

Asked whether they negotiated about possibility that "Delta" buys the majority of part of the capital of "Vitaminka", Mikić said that he had no information on that and that the answer to that question should be asked from the majority owner of company "Vitaminka" - Swiss company "Kreis Industriehandel AG" .

Fee months ago, Croatian press wrote that Croatian "Podravka" was interested in procurement of "Vitaminka" from the current majority owner, mainly because the company from Banja Luka exported 30% of annual production.
