NIS shareholders to get RSD 24.66 per share – Dividend to be paid from 25% of 2016 net profit

The shareholders of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) reached the decision, at their ninth Annual General Meeting, on the distribution of the 2016 profit, dividend payments and the total amount of retained earnings.

In line with the decision, NIS will, for the fifth year in a row, pay out dividend to its shareholders in the amount of 25% of the company's 2016 net profit.

A total of RSD 4.02 billion will be set aside for the purpose, i.e. gross RSD 24.66 per share (dividend yield of 3.7%).

NIS' 2016 net profit amounted to RSD 16.08 billion. The dividend for 2016 will be paid to all shareholders of the company registered at the Central Securities Depository on the record date of the ninth AGM, June 17, 2017.

In line with the decision, the date and the procedure of the dividend payment will be determined by the NIS board of directors, Wisebroker reports.
