The amount of the public debt at the end of May is lower by EUR 100 million compared to April, when it equaled EUR 24.16 billion, and its participation in the GDP was reduced by 0.6% from April’s 67.7%.

At the end of December 2016, the public debt amounted to around EUR 24.82 billion, i.e. 72.9% of the GDP.
