Manufacturer of TV and radio sets "EI Televizija" from Niš on auction on September 5th

Privatization Agency has announced that it will offer Nis-based company "EI-Televizija" for sale on the auction on September 5 at starting price of 33.93m RSD.

That company used to be the leading manufacturer of TV and radio receivers in ex Yugoslavia, but it experienced crash after sanctions and economic difficulties in other parts of Electronic Industry.

The most important property of "EI-Televizija" includes the main buildings – administrative and production building – at 4,773 square meters, a warehouse at 1,449 square meters and additional three annexes on production units in Niš.

Total estimated value of the capital that will be privatized is 169.68m RSD, that is, about 2.14m EUR, while the minimum amount of the expected investments is defined in the public invitation and amounts to 5.86m RSD.

The company achieved total business income in amount of 2.7m RSD in 2007, while the expenses amounted to 35.26m RSD.

According to the invitation published on the web site of the Agency, the most important products and services of the company are refinement of TV frameworks, sale of ready-made products (TV sets) and monitors, production of adapters, video intercoms and locks.

Privatization Agency made the decision on restructuring of Electronic Industry on June 29, 2006. Certain number of companies have already been privatized, while few of them are already in bankruptcy or in the liquidation process.
