As stated on the website, typical tasks of the new ground vehicle Milos include battlefield reconnaissance and anti-tank missions.
The vehicle should have an operating range of one kilometer and is equipped with a remote-controlled weapon station armed with a locally developed 7.62 mm M86 machine gun and an RBG 40 mm/6 M-11 grenade launcher.
According to the website, M86 offers a maximum effective range of up to 800 m, while the grenade can effectively engage targets out to 400 m. The vehicle is equipped with a wide field-of-view camera, a night/thermal camera and a laser rangefinder.
The Military Technical Institute says that the maximum speed of Milos is around 7 km/h. The vehicle is fitted with steel tracks, but rubber band tracks have been tested.
Milos weighs 620 kilograms, whereas the onboard batteries allow for one hour of continuous operation.
The vehicle also features improved mobility, enhancing its utility in restricted spaces. The platform has an overall length of 1,725 mm, a width of 770 mm, and a height of 950 mm, the portal writes.
