The draft law on agricultural land, which envisages stricter terms of sale of land to foreigners, has been prepared, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic said on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
He said for Beta at the opening of the Agricultural Club in Belgrade that the draft would be sent to the Government's bodies on Monday, following which it would be put up for public review.
– The draft law on agricultural land envisages that foreigners need to have a registered company in Serbia for at least 10 years before they are able to purchase agricultural land – Nedimovic said.
He added that other limitations are defined as well.
