Swiss Namics to form new software team in Serbia

The Swiss software agency Namics has started forming a “dot net” department of software engineers in its Belgrade office. As the company announced, the decision will be realized in line with Namics' global business strategy, which includes the employment of 100 software engineers in Serbia by 2019.

The Serbian “dot net” department will be connected with Swiss and German teams, and software experts in Serbia will be able to work on the Sitecore platform, a content management system whose one of the biggest global partners is Namics.

– The Belgrade office will be developing software products from the initial analysis to the implementation of the solution, and the work on the projects will also entail mastering the latest web technologies. The projects implemented so far and the successful cooperation with Sitecore will contribute to the professional development of Serbian software experts – said Samuel Peyer, Senior Cluster Manager for Technology & Application at Namics.

Namics has been operating in Serbia since 2015 and employs 50 software engineers in the Belgrade office, and the aim is for the number of employees to double by 2019.

– In line with the business strategy, in addition to the formation of a new “dot net” team, we will pay attention to the expansion of the teams working with front end and Java technologies. Software engineers will be given an opportunity to develop content management systems, web applications, e-commerce solutions, digital communication and mobile business solutions for clients among which are ADAC, KUKA, Travel.ch, BASF, Medela, Viktorinox, Daimler, the Zurich Airport and many other companies from the Forbes Top 500 list of the most successful companies in the world – Peyer added.
