Workers of Gosa decided today to stop strike, after agreement with the Agency for Insurance and Financing of Exports (AOFI), which will help with RSD 20 m to finish work for Iran, President of the Strike Committee Milan Vujičić said for Tanjug.

He said that thanks to this work, workers will get 30,000 dinars this week and 30,000 dinars more next week, and that they will start working as soon as they receive the first payment.

- We reached an agreement with AOFI, with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy. The government gave green light for this job – Vujicic said.

He explained it was a business which started a year ago, i.e. export of wagon doors to Iran.

Gosa's workers have been on strike for about five months because of unpaid salaries, and they are also looking for taxes and contributions, as well as linking seniority. There are about 260 strikers in Gosa, out of a total of about 350 workers.

The main request of the Strike Committee is to give employees unpaid salaries from 2015.

In 2007, Gosa was privatized by the Slovakian company ZOS Trnava, and current owner is Lisnart Holdings Limited from Cyprus.
