Turkiye Halkbankasi has announced a bid for the takeover of 13.24% of Halkbank Belgrade shares, as reported on the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
The Turkish bank intends to take over 24,102 shares of the Serbian bank, in which it already has 86.76% of the ownership.
The price the bidder obliges to pay amounts to RSD 10,000 per share and the offer is valid until September 27.
Let us remind that the first branch office of Halkbank in Serbia opened in 2013 in Terazije, whereas Halkbank bought a majority stake in former Cacanska Banka in 2015.
