Hollywood actor Ralph Fiennes granted Serbian citizenship

British actor and director Ralph Fiennes has been granted Serbian citizenship, as reported in the latest issue of the Official Gazette. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on September 7.

Fiennes is filming a movie about the greatest male ballet dancer of all time, Rudolf Nureyev, in Belgrade. He also filmed Coriolanus in Serbia in 2010.

On June 23, Fiennes was a guest at the ceremony organized by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on the occasion of assuming the duty.
