The national airline Air Serbia will rationalize the flight schedule in the upcoming winter season relative to the previous one, in line with adapting to the market and the current cost-reduction measures, which aim to achieve greater cost-effectiveness.

This winter, Air Serbia will remove flights to Abu Dhabi, four years after establishing the route, whereas the airlines to Hamburg and Larnaca will be limited in the winter flight schedule.

The number of weekly flights to Beirut, Berlin, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Tivat and Banjaluka, partially during the winter, will be reduced by one.

Airlines to Ljubljana and Zageb will be reduced to two a week, over ten weeks.

On the other hand, Air Serbia will expand the newly established route to Venice to four flights a week in the winter period. Also, the line to Zurich will be doubled to two flights a week. The trans-Atlantic flight to New York will be subject to the schedule identical to that of the last winter season, Wisebroker reports.
