Hotel Putnik in Kopaonik to increase capacities by 30% – Reconstructed facility to open on December 29

(The new look of Hotel Putnik in Kopaonik) Hotel Putnik in Kopaonik will welcome the New Year with a new look. At the same time, this mountain beauty will become richer by another four-star hotel, the sixth one in this ski center.
The reconstruction of Hotel Putnik has been in progress since May 2017, and the opening is expected for December 29. The hotel will thereby welcome the end of the year with an extra star, new rooms and a richer offer for its guests.
– This will be one of the most modern facilities in Kopaonik – Milosav Dunjic, director of Putnik, says for eKapija.
– We invested a lot in the reconstruction, so that the hotel's capacities would increase by 30%.
A rich offer
Following the reconstruction, Hotel Putnik will have 102 accommodation units (244 beds) – 83 modern standard rooms, 13 family rooms and 6 luxury apartments.
Additional features in the hotel will be varied and numerous.
The 800-m2 wellness and spa center will be only one of the options for relaxation available to guests. They will also be provided with a pool, a sauna, a salt room, a Turkish bath... There's also the skiing ground and an option of renting skiing equipment and purchasing a ski pass, renting quads, a playroom and and a movie theater, a multipurpose open court, a hairdresser's salon...
As they say at Hotel Putnik, the most beautiful section will contain a restaurant a la carte, designed to provide a full mountain experience and serving local and international cuisine specialties and excellent wines.
A special section is meant for business clients, and two conference halls will also be available to guests.
Hotel Putnik is located in the Sun Valley at an altitude of 1650 meters, only 15 minutes away by foot from the tourism center of Kopaonik and ski lifts. It was founded in 1958, and Kompanija Jovanovic Sabac bought it in October 2015 and announced back then that it planned to renovate it.
