Kuc dairy to increase export to Russia – New storage center in Kragujevac to open in late September

The dairy Kuc Company from Kragujevac, one of the biggest local exporters of milk products to Russia, has just established the cooperation with its third business partner in the country’s market – Dmitrovsky Molochny Zavod (DMZ) from Moscow, Danas reports.

Kuc is already delivering 20 tons of dairy spreads a month to this partner, and the plan is for the value of export to Moscow through DMZ to reach a million euros a year.

For years now, Kuc Company has been delivering feta cheeses and dairy spreads in the total amount of EUR 1.5 million a year to Russian companies Neva Milk from Saint Petersburg and Lubimo from Voronezh, east of Moscow.

The director of the Kragujevac-based dairy, Nenad Radovac, says for Danas that they currently process 80 tons of milk a day and that the products and the financial results of Kuc in the first eight months of this year are better by 24% then in the corresponding period of 2016.

– In late August, we will open a new storage and distribution center in the Kragujevac Industrial Zone, which will have 1,400 pallet spaces. This will be the most modern facility of its kind, featuring tunnels and elevators, the opening of which will help us address the bottleneck situation in our business – Radovac says and notes that an increase in the production capacities of Kuc, which already employs 300 people, is planned for the next phase.
