Chinese IT companies to visit Serbia from September 26 through 28 – Continuation of development of Information Silk Road

Representatives of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China will be visiting Serbia from September 26 through 28, when the Plan of activities on carrying out the Memorandum of Understanding on the enhancement of the development of the Information Silk Road for Information Connectivity will be signed.

As stated in a press release by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the delegation of China will be hosted by representatives of the competent ministry, the Office for Information Technology and e-government of the Government of Serbia and the Office of the Prime Minister of Serbia.

The visit will include a gathering called Information Silk Road for Information Connectivity, and the speakers at the gathering will be State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication, Tatjana Matic, and Deputy General Manager of the Department of High-Tech Industry of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Wu Hao, as well as Ambassador of China to Serbia Li Manchang.


On this occasion, the Plan of activities on carrying out the Memorandum of Understanding on the enhancement of the development of the Information Silk Road for Information Connectivity, which was signed in 2016 in Belgrade by Minister Rasim Ljajic and the then president of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Xu Shaoshi, will be signed.

Representatives of 20 Chinese and 35 Serbian companies from the ICT industry will take part in B2B meetings.
