Ramljak arrived to Belgrade to notify representatives of the Serbian government of the latest events in the concern, the newspaper writes and adds that the prime minister's cabinet confirmed to them that Ramljak had met with Brnabic in order to inform her about the situation in Agrokor.
Former owner of Agrokor, Ivica Todoric, as previously reported by TV N1, also had a range of meetings in Belgrade in the past few weeks, where he tried to learn from media and business advisers what they thought of his position and the planned publications on his web page.
His meeting with a range of Croatian, Serbian and British media and business advisers followed the publication of a range of articles on his blog in which he accuses the Government of Croatia of having acted illegally before, during and following the adoption of Lex Agrokor.
Todoric also met with his team of lawyers and, separately, with one of the leading international law attorneys.
As N1 reports, he would bring a range of documents to the meetings, asking for expert evaluation of their media and legal strength in potential court procedures.
The most interesting detail in these talks was his conviction that he had all the facts and proofs that could topple the Croatian government.
In the past days, Todoric has accused Ramljak of poor management of the company and of being one of the creators of Lex Agrokor, the Law on Companies of Systemic Importance. This law, the activation of which was initiated by Todoric himself, put the running of Agrokor into the hands of the Croatian state.
A couple of days ago, Croatian media published unofficial information from a report by PriceWaterhouse Coopers, according to which Ivica Todoric had falsely adjusted Agrokor's balances by EUR 2 billion. Because of this, there are speculations among the Croatian public that Todoric might soon face charges of being responsible for the biggest systematic fraud in the history of Croatia.
