State seeking buyer for Valjevska Pivara – Letters of interest to be sent by November 6

The Ministry of Economy has published a public invitation for the collection of letters of interest for taking part in the process of privatization of Valjevska Pivara.

Letters of interest should contain, among other things, a proposition of the model of privatization of Valjevska Pivara, a proposition of indicative price, investment program, general business plan and the number of workers the investor is prepared to permanently employ. The public invitation is open until November 6, 2017.

Among the state breweries, Valjevska Pivara, all things considered, has the brightest future, as the production has been revived in the company in the past years. The trend of growth in the past years has enabled the penetration of new markets, North America among them. A PPRP was carried out in Valjevska Pivara, converting debts into capital and making the state the 100% owner.

On the date of December 31, 2016, the company’s assets were estimated at RSD 997,772 million, and the company had 197 employees, it is stated in the public invitation.
