New quotas for export of food products to Turkey – List includes beef, sunflowers, soybeans, animal feed...

The new Free Trade Agreement will define new quotas for duty free export from Serbia to Turkey, pertaining to beef, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, soybeans, animal feed and pet food, and the quotas for export of peas, beans, green peas, sweet corn and prunes have been increased, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic announced on October 9.

He told Beta that Serbia would be able to export, free of duty, 5,000 tons of fresh, chilled or frozen beef, 25,000 tons of raw sunflower oil and 10,000 tons of refined sunflower oil.

– We will also be able to export 15,000 tons of sunflower seeds, 5,000 tons of soybeans, 500 tons of animal feed, 500 tons of pet food and 500 tons of manti – Nedimovic said.

He added that Turkey had approved the doubling of the existing quotas for export of peas from 350 to 700 tons, beans and green beans from 300 to 600 tons, sweet corn from 1,000 to 2,000 tons and prunes from 200 to 400.
