Town hall Kula to rent 9,861 ha of state-owned land - auction at end of September
The Board members of Town hall Kula
have adopted the Draft program for protection, use and organization of
agricultural land, according to which 9,861 ha of state-owned land in that
municipality will be rented on period of three years.
Mayor of Kula, Svetozar Bukvić, said that the auction would take place at the end of September and he pointed out that the municipal budget would be getting about 1m EUR for that land on annual basis.
- We have 149 auction units of up to 5 ha, 78 auction units of 5 - 25 ha, 62 auction units of 25 - 50 ha, 38 auction units of 50 - 100 ha, 15 auction units of 100 - 200 ha and only 2 auction units of 200 - 500 ha - said Bukvić.
He said that only one auction unit had surface of 500 ha and that it was the area on Gornja Kula that had, so far, been cultivated by agricultural company "Đuro Strugar", owned by "MK group".
