Foreign trade surplus of Sumadija and Pomoravlje EUR 170.7 million – Total exchange in first seven months of 2017 EUR 1.9 billion

Sumadija and Pomoravlje realized a foreign trade surplus of EUR 170.7 million in the January-June 2017 period, the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Sumadija and Pomoravlje Districts told FoNet.

In the said period, the total foreign trade of Sumadija and Pomoravlje amounted to EUR 1.9 billion, with the import accounting for slightly over a billion and the export standing at EUR 880.2 million.

The export-import coverage ratio amounted to 119.4%, and exports were made to 85 countries of the world, with the majority of exports going to Italy, Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, B&H, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Montenegro and Russia.


The exports primarily consisted of passenger cars, conductor sets for cars and cables, rail vehicle components, semi-conductors, electric equipment for bulbs, plastic pipes and hoses and fixtures.

On the other hand, the imports primarily consisted of road vehicles, plastic insulation components, electric cables, miscellaneous conductors, propylene polymers, acrylate polymers and buses.
