Bulgaria and Serbia planning development of joint tourism products

The Government of Bulgaria has approved the draft memorandum of understanding with Serbia on cooperation in the field of tourism, which envisages, among other things, “the development of joint tourism products”, the Bulgarian agency Focus reported.

The memorandum, which will be signed by the competent ministries of Serbia and Bulgaria, envisages an intensification of cooperation in tourism, as a field with big potential for the total economic development of the two countries, the Government of Bulgaria announced.

Serbia and Bulgaria will stimulate the creation and the development of joint tourism products competitive with other markets, the agency reports. As said, the products will be jointly promoted by both countries.

Bulgaria and Serbia will also cooperate to the end of improving the “tourist traffic between the two countries”, the press release adds.
