Modernization of railway Corridor 10 from EBRD loan – Project worth EUR 91.5 million

The funds from the loan of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be used for the project of rehabilitation and modernization of sections on the railway Corridor 10, reconstruction of the Belgrade-Rakovica-Resnik section and other railway infrastructures, the company Infrastructure of the Serbian Railways announced on its website on Friday, October 27, 2017.

The proposed project, which has been estimated at around EUR 91.5 million, entails reconstruction of the Jajinci-Mala Krsna section, reconstruction of railway infrastructure on various sections, an information system for preparing train schedules, a remote control system at the Belgrade railway hub and a system for provision of visual and audio information to passengers.


The tender procedure is expected to start in the period from the final quarter of 2017 till the second quarter of 2018, the press release says.
