FCA Serbia has opened a prize contest meant for students, looking for opinions of the millennium generations about cars in the future and willing to award innovative ideas.
The contest is a part of the global initiative “I am FCA – Innovation Awards for Millennials”, which has been successfully carried out in Italy for years now, whereas undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade and the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac now have the opportunity to take part in it by filling out the form at www.fiatsrbija.rs/i-am-fca.
Some of the millennials' ideas adopted by the company after the Italian contest are tied to sustainable development, environmental protection, saving time in various processes, safety and individual needs of drivers.
– FCA Serbia, as a company dedicated to sustainable development, considers the opinions of millennials, who have shown to be dedicated to this topic, invaluable. On the other hand, our company, where young people work, looking to constantly progress and develop, sees establishing relations with students as very important, as it enhances innovative processes of our organization – pointed out Aleksandra Beslac, Corporate Communications Manager at the company.
The first task for students in Serbia who apply is to answer four questions – how they see the promotion of the new technologies of FCA Group, what kind of future car would they want, what role the car should have in the social and the digital life of millennials and in what way they would improve the car of the future together with FCA Group. Following this phase, the process of selection continues with the help of an expert jury (Innovation Board), following which 12 finalists are given an opportunity to further develop their ideas in the form of short video presentations.
In the final, 6 ideas evaluated based on their originality, feasibility and sustainability will be awarded and presented.
The finalists will be awarded at the closing ceremony at the FCA Serbia plant in Kragujevac, to be organized in the spring of 2018. The main prizes are six-month practice programs at FCA Serbia, using Fiat 500L with fuel expenses covered and participation in the Jeep Off Road Days event organized by FCA Serbia.
The application deadline is January 20, 2018.
