Lactalis infant formula and baby food withdrawn due to Salmonella

Several infant formulas and baby food products made by the French milk industry giant Lactalis are being withdrawn from several markets, including Serbia, following the detection of the presence of Salmonella.

The order for product withdrawal pertains to China, Taiwan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Morocco, Lebanon, Sudan, Romania, Serbia, Georgia, Greece, Haiti, Colombia and Peru, Reuters reports.


The decision to withdraw the Lactalis baby formula was announced by DGCCRF, the French state agency for consumer protection.
