Fabrika Obojenih Metala (FOM) Prokuplje, a former non-ferrous metal giant in Yugoslavia, wasn't sold at the second public auction at the price of RSD 177.86 million, as there were no interested purchasers, those in charge announced on December 11.

– The new auction will be held as soon as January 2018, but at the 10% lower price – said Dusan Dragojlovic, the bankruptcy trustee of the factory.

The entire movable and immovable property of the factory, which used to employ over 1,500 workers in its time, is under mortgage of around EUR 4 million.

FOM was privatized out of bankruptcy in 2008 for RSD 215 million, but went bankrupt once again in the meantime, following which a sales tender at the initial price of RSD 222 million was organized.
