SIEPA among top six agencies in the world - Kenya ranked first
- The International Trade Center has included the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA) in the world's top six organization of the kind - SIEPA announced today (October 14, 2008).
The award was granted at the World Conference of Trade Promotion Organizations in the Hague, and the finalists were Serbia, Brasil, Palestine, Paraguay, South African Republic, while the winner was Kenya.
This award is granted every second year and it represents the highest international accolade that is granted to the trade and investment promotion agencies.
Expert jury examines agencies from all countries of the world, from those most developed and developing countries to those poorest ones. International Trade Center is the common body of the World Trade Organization and United Nations.
SIEPA was founded in 2001 as a special agency of the Government of Serbia. So far, it has realized a large number of investment projects in Serbia.
