Value of infrastructural works in Serbia in 2017 higher by 112%

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia has announced that a total of 2,007 building permits were issued in November 2017, the biggest number of permits issued in a single months in the past ten years and the first time the number exceeded 2,000.

As stated on the ministry's website, the number of building permits issued in the first 11 months of 2017 is 49% higher than the number issued in the same period in 2016.

The value of total construction works in the period is higher by 59%, primarily in the field of infrastructure, where an increase of 112% was realized, the press release says.
